Mark Robinson, Teressa and Terrance had the privilege of attending the VEX Robotics National Finals in Telford – an event that once again showcased the incredible talent, creativity and determination of young STEM enthusiasts from across the UK.

This year, we were especially proud to support the PPS IQ All Stars, the brilliant team from Portobello Primary School. It was inspiring to see just how engaged and committed the teaching staff are to promoting STEM education, and we couldn’t help but wish we’d had teachers as passionate as Connor Chipchase and Callum Bone when we were at school.

Their dedication clearly shines through in the pupils’ performance. The team pulled out an absolute blinder, finishing joint 4th in the entire UK and taking home the award for Best Robot Efficiency!

An outstanding achievement and thoroughly deserved.

We are unbelievably proud of every single pupil who took part. They worked incredibly hard and represented their school with real excellence. We’ll be popping in soon with some goodies to celebrate with them all – and of course to collect the mascots!

A huge well done to the PPS IQ All Stars. The future of UK engineering and technology is in very safe hands.
