One Thousand Pounds raised by SMS Technology for Portobello Primary School

SMS Technology is thrilled to announce our win in the Environmental and Sustainability category at

the NEAA Awards 2025. It was a closely contested result, with Sustainable Business Services running us extremely close — their work in this area is outstanding.

One of the most rewarding parts of this achievement is that Portobello Primary School will receive £1,000 to support their STEM activities, helping inspire the next generation of innovators.

Recognising Excellence Across the Region

We were also finalists for the SME Award, which was rightly won by AR Power. Massive congratulations to their team — a well-deserved success.

The event highlighted the incredible support for schools, apprenticeships, and skills development across the North East. With so many organisations championing the next generation, the future truly looks bright.
